Torn across the planes by the errant Wish of a young girl, the devil Baelagor finds himself bound to a body of wood, his powers diminished, his identity fading in place of his new existance as Mr. Strings. Angry, cruel and heartachingly lonely, he wanders a land unfamiliar to him, seeking the path to regaining his former form and identity, and vengeance against the young sorceress who bound him to her favorite toy before she was whisked away from him...
